As a Director of Account and Success Management, you will be responsible for driving retention and growth of large enterprise and government customers in a B2B SaaS context, focusing on building, enabling, and leading a top-notch B2B account management team, and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maximizing customer outcomes. This role requires strong strategic leadership and team management skills.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Develop and execute account management strategies to achieve revenue retention and growth targets.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the account management team to ensure high performance and professional growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, acting as an escalation point and executive stakeholder
  • Identify and address client needs, challenges, and opportunities to build sustainable customer relationships and enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, services, and product teams to align account management strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze account performance metrics, providing senior management with regular reports and actionable insights.
  • Develop and implement processes for customer feedback and continuous improvement of services.
  • Negotiate and close renewals and upsell opportunities, ensuring long-term client commitment.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to drive innovation in account management practices.

Your profile in short 🔗︎

  • 10+ years of proven experience in account management, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Experience working in a fast-growing scale-up environment
  • Knowledge of the SaaS industry, working with governmental institutions, and understanding of subscription-based business models.
  • MBA or other relevant advanced degree is a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Negotiation skills and experience in closing renewals and upsell opportunities.
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of developing and executing successful account management strategies.
  • Analytical skills to monitor and interpret account performance metrics.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, ideally Salesforce and other relevant tools
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments to drive integrated account management initiatives.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences
