Maltego is a tool used globally by industry experts, analysts, and law enforcement agencies to help protect and watch over their infrastructure but also to keep guard on internet safety, reduce crime and catch bad guys

As a Customer Success Engineer, you act as the liaison for the engineering teams on the customer's side, ensuring they can rely on you for all things technical. With your communication skills, and technical knowledge of Maltego both on the product, server and transform side, you will lay the groundwork for users around the world to leverage Maltego as their go-to investigative tool.

What to expect 🔗︎


In this role, you will manage technical implementation projects for customers. You will interact closely with the product, data integrations, and the support team. Your key task in this role is to ensure that the customer can achieve quick wins by setting up Maltego for long-term stickiness such as developing a custom transform, deploying in their custom instance, or ensuring they find a way to convert their investigative workflow to include Maltego. You will support the onboarding team and the sales team in ensuring customers can test and implement their ideas and work closely with the internal stakeholders to align timelines and expectations

Key tasks as a Customer Success Engineer includes:
  • Managing the customer from pre-sales setup to long-term Maltego implementation
  • Co-ordinating with technical operations and customer support teams to escalate and de-escalate tasks related to Maltego on-prem deployment.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve server and network issues in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Documenting existing and/or new processes related to setup and support activities and writing necessary technical documentation/training materials in support of it
  • Determining the best methodology and approach to configure new requirements into existing and new solutions.
  • Learning about new infrastructure and running test environments to keep up with the ever-changing landscape of server/network/application infrastructure.
  • Serve as an internal go-to person for the Maltego application server deployments

Your profile in short 🔗︎


  • Minimum of 4 years related work experience preferred
  • Degree in an appropriate IT field such as Computer Science or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience as a Customer Engineer or Support Engineer working with application servers
  • Technical understanding and experience working on virtualization, Docker, applications servers, networks, as well as cloud hosting in Azure or AWS required
  • Technical knowledge and experience working on Kubernetes, and terminal services
  • Basic knowledge of Python scripting
  • Experience working with *nix and Windows Operating systems
  • Very good spoken and written English. Basic German is a plus but not required.
