As a member of the Training Team at Maltego, you will be crucial in helping our customers get the most out of our tool and be successful in their investigations. As an Instructional Designer, you will strengthen our impact and empower Maltego users around the globe while also learning and developing new skills.

What to expect 🔗︎


In this role, you will:
  • Build and maintain a catalog of training resources, including course curriculum, media, demonstrations, and additional material.
  • Apply instructional design theories, models, and best practices to create engaging, interactive, and effective learning experiences.
  • Conduct needs assessments and evaluations to measure the effectiveness of the training materials.
  • Develop and design learning material, coordinate and review educational content, and incorporate current technology in developing specific eLearning curricula.
  • Work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders and subject matter experts to develop instructional materials
  • Support the deployment of learning programs including uploading and updating courseware and curricula, training assignments, online communities, and static training activities in our LMS.

Your profile in short 🔗︎


  • You possess a university degree in a relevant discipline (Education, Human Resources, Instructional Design, or another applicable field), or have 1-3 years of experience as an Instructional Designer/Learning Experience Designer
  • You have strong knowledge of instructional design theories, models, and best practices, as well as experience delivering both live (instructor-facilitated live training remote or in-person) and on-demand (courses, videos, games, etc.) offerings
  • You have practical experience using our training tools, including Articulate 360 (eLearning authoring), LearnWorlds LMS (or other Learning Management Systems), AirTable/Excel, Microsoft Teams, and any audio, video, and graphic design tools
  • You have an interest in cybersecurity, software, and technology
  • You have high-quality standards for your own work and communicate problems at an early stage
  • You have excellent English skills (German and others are a plus), and you know how to make learning experiences clear, concise, and focused, making complex topics simple for learners
  • You can work independently, as well as in collaboration with others
