Maltego Technologies is still a young company. Despite our young age, we serve a large customer base of Maltego users from all around the world from single investigators to large enterprises. As a result of our growing business, we are currently increasing our legal team to focus on contract negotiation with our training and transform hub partner as well as our customers. For this, we are now looking for a deal desk manager in our legal team, who brings a passion for legal topics combined with a business thinking required to close the deal.

What to expect 🔗︎

As a Deal Desk Manager you are part of our legal team and the essential interface between sales and transform hub team and as an active negotiating party your focus is on the customer's contractual wishes and to harmonize Maltego's business model with regard to business efficiency and legal conformity.

In your role as a Deal Desk Manager you are responsible for:
  • Reviewing, negotiation and documenting contracts and supporting the sales and transform hub team to close their deals.
  • Developing relevant cross-functional relationships to understand products, competition, and the competitive market
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of our customers and how they use our products
  • You act as a focal point of contact for all strategic deals of our customers and Transform Hub partners.
  • You accompany the deal process in the final closing phase, check offers and contracts and actively design complex contract contents.
  • Ensure timely delivery of compliant and commercially sound offers with the Key Account Managers
  • Collaborating with Sales leadership to effectively coordinate and manage month and quarter end deal closure
  • Handle day-to-day transactional deal pricing requests

Your profile in short 🔗︎

  • Successfully completed degree in law / business law or a related subject
  • Deep understanding of contractual concepts and familiarity with standard legal terms
  • Business management know-how including relevant legal experience in negotiating complex contracts in the software or/and service environment with multiple service components on the supplier or customer side as well as a strong understanding of sales processes, ideally with subscription-based products
  • Working experience in international and/or large companies and/or government institution, ideally one with an enterprise technology focus (prior experiences in SaaS, Cloud, and Cybersecurity are a plus)
  • Team player with effective communications skills: you will be interacting with many individuals from different organizations and backgrounds who will be relying on you and vice-versa. You communicate with them clearly, effectively and in a collaborative way reflecting our corporate values at all times.
  • Affinity for software tools and are experience using Microsoft office and CRM tools
  • Fluent in English and German, both verbal and in writing (additional languages are a plus)
