Maltego is a tool used globally across industries by cyber security experts, analysts, and law enforcement agencies for safeguarding infrastructure and combatting cyber threats.
As an experienced Event Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping Maltego's presence at different external and hosted events (conferences, fairs, webinars, own events or other industry events). Your expertise in research, negotiation, and budget management will ensure the success of Maltego's on-site engagements. With a keen focus on organization, multitasking, and brand visibility, you'll play a key role in boosting Maltego's recognition in the cybersecurity industry on a global scale.
This is a temporary parental leave replacement for 15 months with the option of extension.

What to expect 🔗︎
Strategy and Optimization:
- Developing long-term plans for event growth and development that are aligned with our organization´s goals
- Identifying relevant events and formats and continuously improving our positioning at events by effectively incorporating feedback from other departments
- Creating and managing budgets and measuring event ROIs to ensure financial goals are met and resources are allocated effectively
- Introducing and implementing new event concepts, technologies, or trends
Operational tasks:
- Responsibility for planning, delegating responsibilities, executing, and successfully monitoring of our events
- Taking care of our presence at fairs and events: organization of speaking slots, booth presences, and other promotional activities (e.g. networking events)
- Organization of Maltego-owned events from conception, through implementation to continuous improvement
- Coordination of internal and external stakeholders
Your profile in short 🔗︎
- Minimum 3 years of B2B event management experience
- Strong project and organizational skills for seamless collaboration
- Detail-oriented with excellent communication abilities
- Skilled in stakeholder management and decision-making in time-sensitive situations
- Experience in people management
- German language proficiency is a plus
