Maltego is the de-facto standard in Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) investigations. Our free version of Maltego enjoys a huge fan base and community following in the Cyber Security, Law Enforcement as well as Trust and Safety space. We are further building out our Enterprise Sales team and are looking for a motivated individual with a track record of success in driving a consistent outbound sales motion.

Our Business Development Reps (BDRs) understand and enjoy technology, prospecting, learning and ultimately wants to establish a career in technology sales.
As BDR, you are a key part of our Sales team in helping us continue to grow. You will open up new accounts and foster relationships with multiple contacts within all levels of our target customer segments.

As BDR, you are a key part of our Sales team in helping us continue to grow. You will open up new accounts and foster relationships with multiple contacts within all levels of our target customer segments.
This includes:
- Prospect and generate leads as well as create strategic target account lists
- Collaborate closely with our Account Executives (AEs) to establish a "plan-of-attack", including target companies, target prospects, and messaging/talk-tracks
- Research and develop new and existing accounts
- Actively listen to customer needs to qualify and set expectations for initial meetings for our AEs
- Achieve or exceed monthly targets of Qualified Meetings, Opportunities and Pipeline Generation
- Leverage a modern lead generation tool stack, including Salesforce, Salesloft, LinkedIn, etc.
- Participate in regular training & informational sessions
Your profile in short 🔗︎
- Ideally a background in cybersecurity, government and trust and safety
- Experience with inside lead generation (selling over the phone, cold calling), preferably B2B at a SaaS company
- Familiarity with marketing principles to facilitate alternative Lead Generation activities
- Proven experience of working to and meeting targets in a sales environment
- Ability to conduct in-depth research via various online tools
- Technically adept and able to use a variety of online and sales automation tools
- Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written in English. German is plus, but not required
