Maltego integrates different data sources through the use of “Transforms” - pieces of code - to pull data into the tool. We are looking for developers to integrate data from our Enterprise customers’ own environments through Transforms. These transforms aid the Trust and Safety or Cyber Security analysts of our Enterprise customers in their critical day-to-day operations. The integrations for our customers are tailor-made to ensure reliable and high-performance access to their own data.
We are rapidly expanding our offering for critical own-data Enterprises sources for our major customers around the world and currently building a dedicated team for Custom Engineering. At Maltego, we have a community of Integration Engineers working on different types of data integrations with our data partners and customers.

What to expect 🔗︎
As an Integrations Engineer for our newly launched Custom Engineering team, you will work on developing transforms that are either bespoke to a customer’s particular needs or productized and made available through our hub to all our customers. This means you will be the first of a kind in this team and will get to work on a variety of challenges that comes with building new transform code for a variety of customers, environments, and data sources. Bring your curiosity, out-of-the-box thinking, and willingness to learn and find a path through new grounds, and unexplored ‘off the beaten track’ fields!
Your responsibilities include:

- The design of integrations or transforms and the implementation thereof with development in Python using data that is provided through restful APIs, databases, and other data sources.
- The creation of unique Transforms that will ensure that the users of our tool experience seamless access to their own data and add value to their analysis by leveraging the unique capabilities of the Maltego suite of products.
- Working together with our customers, product managers, and engineering teams to build new and interesting ways to access a variety of sources.
Your profile in short 🔗︎
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent work experience
- Experience in writing API connectors
- Experience in Python development or similar (2+ years full-time experience)
- Skilled at database integrations, enterprise-level, distributed, and scalable applications
- Good experience with application frameworks such as Flask, Containerization, and Networking modules
- Interest in OSINT and Cyber security
- High self-motivation and can communicate well.
- Fluent in English, a love for challenges, and a willingness to learn.
